Thalapati Vijay's party in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Tamilaga Vetri Kazagam (TVK), finally got in the way of forming the government. This was made possible by the formal support of local parties Biduthalai Chiruthaigal Kachi (VCK) and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). Two seats each of VCK and IUML have been added to TVK's repository.
