A high school student died in a bus accident on the Iwakoshi Expressway in Fukushima Prefecture during a school expedition. Video footage from inside the vehicle captured the driver moments before the collision, and investigators found no evidence of any attempt to avoid the crash, prompting a police inquiry into the circumstances.

In an interview with investigators, it was found that the student in the bus accident that killed or injured a high school student who was on an expedition on the Ban-Etsu Expressway in Fukushima Prefecture explained to the police that he was driving unstably, such as repeating sudden acceleration and deceleration immediately after departure.
