MITHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday ordered strict action against the culprits who allegedly gouged out both eyes of a female camel after subjecting the animal to severe torture in a Tharparkar village a day earlier. “Cruelty against voiceless animals is unacceptable under any circumstances,” the CM said, and described the incident as an inhumane act. He also directed Tharparkar’s livestock department to ensure immediate veterinary treatment of the camel.
