Froussard, who has reported for years from Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, arrived on a flight from Paris on Wednesday and was subsequently questioned, detained and placed on a return flight to France. RFI said Froussard held the necessary travel authorisation and had applied for a press visa to work in the occupied West Bank.
