Twenty Colombian artists, primarily from Antioquia, will participate in the Geoje International Art Festival in South Korea, one of Asia's most important art events. The curator, painter Bernardo Echavarría Berrío, has won Excellence in Painting Awards and selected six of his students from Angostura, along with other artists from across Colombia, to showcase their work internationally.

Colombian automotive sector showed strong recovery in 2016 with 26,787 new vehicles registered in April (54% YoY increase). Electric and hybrid vehicles led growth at 304% and 76% respectively, with Kia, Renault, and Tesla dominating market share. Antioquia region emerged as the second-largest market after Bogotá with significant registration increases.
