The Srinagar–Jammu National Highway remained open for two-way traffic on Friday with slow movement at several stretches caused by congestion, vehicle breakdowns, and nomadic herds crossing the route. Authorities expect continued passage of additional herds in coming days and have advised commuters to travel during daylight hours and maintain lane discipline to minimise delays.
