In Ituri, Governor Johnny Luboya issued a warning to all political actors and community leaders who would consider collaborating with the M23 rebels. In a statement to the press, Lieutenant General Luboya denounced the recruitment of young Iturians by certain individuals for the benefit of this armed group. These actions, he said, are aimed at undermining the peace and development efforts already undertaken in the province.
