Hungary has lifted its veto on €6.6 billion in European Peace Facility funds for Ukraine, clearing the way for EU member states to be reimbursed for weapons supplied to Kyiv. The decision by Budapest's new government also includes support for extending EU sanctions against Russia for a full year and backing Ukraine's EU accession negotiations, reversing the blocking stance of Viktor Orbán's administration.
