Afghanistan has inaugurated a permanent exhibition of over 220 historical stones, many from the Timurid period, at Herat's Qala-e Ikhtiyaruddin citadel near the Herat Museum. The exhibition, which opened to domestic and international tourists, is part of a cultural initiative to preserve and showcase Afghanistan's historical heritage, following a similar technology exhibition that premiered the previous week.
