Heavy rainfall during the second day of Eid al-Adha fell in considerable quantities in Illizi province, causing flash floods in valleys and soil erosion. National Road No. 03 at the 15 km mark towards Djanet province experienced deterioration due to floods and soil erosion, which led to difficult driving conditions.
