Pakistan's Chief Justice Yahya Afridi met with PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja and assured him that petitions concerning access to personal physicians, family members, and counsel for incarcerated former Prime Minister Imran Khan would be scheduled for hearings after Eid. The assurances followed a sit-in protest outside the Supreme Court and address a pending appeal since October 2025 regarding Imran's detention conditions at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
