Researchers from Chalmers University are conducting load tests on a bridge outside Borlänge, Sweden, to determine whether it can safely support heavier loads than originally designed. If successful, the findings could allow hundreds of similarly constructed bridges throughout Sweden to remain in service longer without expensive replacements.
