Ukraine and Sweden have signed a declaration focused on deepening defense cooperation. Following the negotiations, Kyiv will receive a military aid package worth €2.7 billion, with over €2 billion of this amount directed specifically to aircraft procurement. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at a press conference that his country expects to receive 16 JAS 39 Gripen C/D fighter jets within the next 10 months — with initial deliveries expected in December-January.
