Ebola "can be stopped" says the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, when he landed Thursday evening in DR Congo, writes AFP. WHO has declared the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo a international public health crisis – the second highest alert level the organization operates with. Earlier this week, Ghebreyesus reported that 220 suspected Ebola deaths have been registered in the country.
