President Donald Trump is conditioning any peace agreement with Iran on recognition of Israel by Arab nations. In a Monday post on Truth Social, Trump stated that he discussed with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain over the weekend and that he wants them to sign the Abraham Accords, a historic set of agreements negotiated in 2020 that normalized diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab countries. It appears that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not participate in the call.
