Heavy rains swept across several Russian regions over the past weekend. Parts of Moscow received nearly half their monthly rainfall in a single storm that toppled trees, flooded Novy Arbat, Kutuzovsky Prospekt, and other streets, along with underground parking garages and the Leningradsky railway station. In the Zyuzino district, a resident on a paddleboard helped drivers out of their cars, with water reaching the middle of the doors, according to media reports.
