A 39-year-old anesthetist from a hospital in Vatra Dornei, Suceava county, has been placed under preventive arrest, being accused of using fentanyl, morphine and pethidine over the past year, controlled substances taken from the hospital pharmacy. According to investigators, the anesthetist was caught in the act, injecting these substances even within the hospital premises and even during surgical procedures.
