# Translation The International Republican Institute (IRI) announced the deployment of an international election observer delegation in Colombia between May 27 and June 1, 2026, with the objective of evaluating the development of the presidential elections scheduled for May 31. The mission will be based in Bogotá and in different regions of the country, where it will hold meetings with electoral authorities, political parties, and civil organizations to analyze the conditions of the electoral process.
