Romania's State Secretary for Transport Horațiu Cosma has accused the leadership of CNAIR (the national road authority) of blocking the transfer of five major infrastructure projects worth approximately €10 billion to CNIR, past the legal deadline for handover. Cosma warned that the refusal of CNAIR Director General Cristian Pistol to comply with the Transport Minister's order risks causing delays and potential loss of European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) funding.
