The Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced the discovery of the circumstances surrounding a post that was circulated with an attached image, claiming that one of the police stations in Cairo was stormed by a car, which resulted in injuring a soldier and the driver fleeing, this occurring before Eid al-Adha. The ministry clarified, through a statement it published on its Facebook page on Thursday, that the examination showed no reports received regarding the incident, and it was found that none of the police personnel were injured at the mentioned location on May 25th. It added that investigations resulted in identifying the car in question, which was found to have valid legal documents, while its driver, who resides within the jurisdiction of the Tenth of Ramadan First Police Station, denied his involvement in the incident when interrogated.
