Minister of Health Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has defended the suspension of the Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Dr. Paa Kwesi Baidoo, describing the action as necessary following the unauthorized closure of the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit.
