According to the report, the Afghan currency weakened slightly against the US dollar, reaching 64.1 afghanis per dollar. Despite the decline, the afghani remains 8% stronger than a year ago and nearly 15% stronger than the three-year average, helping to contain inflationary pressures to some extent.
