This weekend marks the start of Home Café Days. This initiative is now in its fifth year in Latvia, during which local residents transform their homes into cafés, offering both their favourite dishes and honoring recipes passed down from their ancestors.  Southern Kurzeme has set a record for home cafés this year – 52 participants have signed up, Latvian Radio reports on July 2.
