The National Stadium track has been duly certified by World Athletics. Sport Minister Olivia Grange made the announcement Tuesday during her contribution to the Sectoral Debate in the House of Representatives. The installation of the black, green and gold track was completed in March 2025 but questions lingered as to whether times recorded on the track would be recognised by the world governing body in the absence of certification.
