A complaint alleging presumed acts of sexual abuse and improper treatment during the recruitment process of the second 2026 contingent shook the National Army, after several applicants claimed to have felt violated during medical examinations conducted as part of the convocation. According to testimonies, approximately 70 women participated in the medical evaluations, and several agreed that a doctor would have performed physical procedures without previously explaining the exam or requesting consent. According to one of the complainants, the professional conducted a review that included direct contact with the breasts and subsequently took them to a stretcher to continue with the physical evaluation.
