Anantnag, Jun 17: Two people died on Wednesday after a small car skidded off a mountainous road and fell into a deep gorge near the tourist resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir, officials said. Police said the accident occurred around 12:30 pm on the Aru Road when a car (JK03-6737) reportedly lost control and went off the road before plunging into a gorge. Both occupants died on the spot due to the impact of the crash, officials said.
