The ministry added that despite this situation, dozens of domestic and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) continue to operate in humanitarian and development sectors across the country. According to the ministry, in 1404 of the solar year, the operating licenses of 303 domestic NGOs and 20 foreign NGOs were renewed, while 72 new organizations were granted licenses to begin activities.
