The European Commission confirmed that its letter to Czech authorities concerning Prime Minister Andrej Babiš's conflict of interest also relates to agricultural subsidies. Representatives of the EU institution write in it that they will not pay out subsidies for companies connected to the Prime Minister until the conflict of interest issue is clarified. Nevertheless, Agriculture Minister Martin Šebestyán insists that the Agrofert holding can continue to receive subsidies.
