The United States is considering reviewing its military and diplomatic presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to disagreements with European allies over the appointment of the next High Representative for the country. The position, which oversees implementation of the 1995 Dayton peace accords, has been vacant since German official Christian Schmidt stepped down nearly a month ago, with two competing visions now in contention for the role.
