CHP Istanbul Deputy Namık Tan, regarding the allegation against him that "he went to Tom Barrack and sought help regarding the annulment decision," made the following statement: "I never met Tom Barrack, let alone sat next to him. On the day the annulment decision was issued, I was on my way back to Turkey due to an illness I suffered during the European Council Political Committee meeting that was taking place in Paris."
