Mobile network operators say the adjustment of the telecommunications tariff exchange rate is intended to sustain reliable communication services amid rising operational costs. The adjusted tariff exchange rate will take effect later at midnight. In a joint statement issued today, Friday, Digitel, MTN and Zain said the adjustment follows approval by the National Communications Authority.
