The first hearing on the lawsuit of 58 professors of the University of Novi Sad against the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held today in Novi Sad at the Basic Court. Professors are seeking compensation for non-pecuniary damage, due to the violation of their rights during the, as they stated, illegal stay of the police on the university campus and the violation of the rights of members of the academic community and the autonomy of the university.
