KINGSTON, Jamaica β Daniellia Dixon clocked a personal best 53.47 seconds to lead the qualifiers into Sunday's girls Under-20 400m final of the JAAA National Championships, winning her semi-final heat on Friday. The former William Knibb Memorial standout, who finished fourth in the girls Class Two final at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships and later placed fourth at the Carifta Games, will be hoping to grab an individual spot at the World Under-20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in August. Foga Road High's Shameika McLean, Jamaica's fastest school girl this season with a best of 52.22 seconds, also progressed to the final after running 53.90 seconds.
