Israeli military says it intercepted drone near Metula The Israeli military said its air force intercepted a drone that entered an area where Israeli forces were operating in southern Lebanon, after sirens warning of a hostile aircraft sounded in the northern Israeli town of Metula. In a statement, the Israeli army said the drone was identified and intercepted shortly after the alerts were activated. It added that missile and rocket warning sirens were triggered during the interception attempts.
