The WHO has raised concerns about response gaps during an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, which has recorded 528 suspected cases and 132 deaths. Insecurity, population displacement, and operational constraints are hampering surveillance and contact tracing efforts, particularly in eastern DRC where most cases are concentrated.
