In the coming days, as air temperatures exceed +30 degrees Celsius, the asphalt on the roads will also heat up significantly. In sections where the asphalt is old and in poor condition, as well as in areas where potholes have been repaired, heat-induced softening may occur, according to the Latvian State Roads (LVC).
