# Water and Scientific Diplomacy: A Tool for Building Regional Cooperation Professor Fadi George Comair Water and scientific diplomacy is considered a tool serving the establishment of integrated management of water resources, both national and transnational, according to a cooperative model. Water diplomacy aims to build a new form of governance aspiring to construct peace, and is a process for preventing conflicts over water and mediating their resolution. The objective is to eliminate all forms of domination by any country over another, to keep militarization away from access to water sources, and to reject the concept of dominant resource management.
