Afghanistan, Uzbekistan Sign Over $5 Billion in Trade Agreements Ebadullah.Ebadi Tue, 05/26/2026 - 21:09 Author Liluma Qadiry Business The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) has announced that Uzbekistan’s private sector has signed trade agreements and memorandums of understanding worth more than $5 billion with Afghanistan over the past eight months. These agreements cover sectors including fresh and dried fruits, precious and semi-precious stones, coal, cement, carpets, cotton, raw materials, food products, and pharmaceuticals. According to the chamber, during this period, multiple trade delegations traveled between Kabul and Tashkent, with discussions mainly focused on expanding trade ties and economic cooperation.
