The wife of Germán Giuliani, an Argentine lawyer held as a political prisoner in Venezuela, appealed to the Venezuelan government to allow him to return home temporarily to see his father before his death. Giuliani was reportedly unable to reunite with his father, who died while his son remained in detention.
