However, due to high humidity levels, the “feels-like” temperature surged to around 48°C during the day, making conditions significantly more uncomfortable for residents. The Met Office said the maximum temperature recorded in the city was 36.5°C, while relative humidity remained at 62 per cent, significantly increasing the perceived heat.
