Romanians are more dissatisfied with their quality of life than the EU average, according to the spring barometer conducted by the European Parliament. According to the report, around 63% of Romanians said they were satisfied with their quality of life, while the European average is 83%. However, the European figure falls to 69% among those who have difficulty paying their bills from time to time and to just 40% among those who face such difficulties most of the time. On the other hand, 37% of respondents in Romania were dissatisfied with their daily living conditions, while the European average is much lower, at only 17%.
