Since the beginning of the year, the number of cancelled flights in Russia has increased more than fourfold, writes Kommersant citing insurance companies' calculations. The number of cases of prolonged flight delays has also doubled. More than 15% of flights since the beginning of the year have departed with delays of at least one hour — almost twice as many as a year ago.
