On the first day of Eid in Istanbul, the hot and clear weather is giving way to thunderstorms and heavy rain. The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) and AKOM warned citizens against adverse conditions, noting that the precipitation system that will be effective throughout Marmara is approaching Istanbul's borders.
