Srinagar, May 19: Ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha celebrations, Traffic Police City Srinagar has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory aimed at ensuring smooth vehicular movement and public safety across the city during the festive period. In anticipation of increased public movement, shopping activity, and transportation pressure, the traffic department appealed to commuters, pedestrians, transport operators, vendors, and the general public to cooperate in maintaining road discipline and minimizing congestion. According to the advisory, citizens have been urged to park vehicles only at designated parking spaces and avoid roadside sale or display of sacrificial animals, which often leads to severe traffic bottlenecks.
