Iranian state media reported that Tehran had received an initial, unofficial draft of a framework for a memorandum of understanding with the United States, under which Iran would restore commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within a month, in exchange for the United States withdrawing its military forces from around Iran and lifting the naval blockade. The White House has denied the report, calling it “completely fabricated.”
