The Khost Public Health Directorate says the medical team will perform surgeries on 250 children with cleft lip and palate conditions over the next two weeks. Sher Gul Zadran, deputy director of the Khost Public Health Directorate, said: “Doctors from Kabul’s Isteqlal Hospital, who arrived in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health, are carrying out free cleft lip surgeries at Khost Civil Hospital.
