Following the latest increase, petrol prices rose to 98.64 rupees per litre from 97.77 rupees, while diesel prices increased to 91.58 rupees per litre from 90.67 rupees. The move comes after a larger 3-rupee-per-litre increase introduced on Friday, which was India’s first domestic fuel price adjustment in four years.
