An Air Algérie flight carrying 130 passengers from Nice to Constantine on Thursday evening encountered problems that caused significant distress to travelers. Two families, representing roughly half the passengers, were particularly affected; they had chartered the flight through the national airline to transport deceased relatives to Algeria for burial, but flight AH 1199 failed to complete its intended purpose.
