<p>Oak Park police are investigating a report of antisemitic vandalism, the department announced.</p><p>The incident was reported Wednesday in the 300 block of Home Avenue, and detectives have canvassed the area and reviewed security footage, according to a release from Oak Park police. It's currently being investigated as criminal damage to property, but hate crime charges could be filed, spokesperson Dan Yopchick said.</p><p>"Acts of antisemitism have no place in Oak Park," Village President Vicki Scaman said in a statement. "Our village prides itself on being a welcoming, diverse community and incidents like this one are deeply painful, not just for those directly affected, but for our entire Jewish community and all residents who value inclusion."</p><p>Oak Park police are working with other departments in the area to identify any possible trends or patterns of similar incidents.</p><p>Anyone with information can contact Oak Park police at 708.386.3800 or police@oak-park.us.
