A CURS opinion poll conducted in early May shows the far-right AUR party leading hypothetical Romanian parliamentary elections with 32% support, significantly ahead of the PSD (24%) and PNL (20%). Public confidence rankings show former presidential candidate Călin Georgescu leading at 32%, followed by Bucharest Mayor Nicușor Dan and other political figures.
